I actually doubt it. Zubov would have left that area if he was still on the run at that point. I mean, maybe he eventually got arrested, but I don't think it would have been a direct result of the interview.
After all, when Thompson said that Zubov is still on the run during his introduction, it is likely he escaped somewhere else.
It's not like Thompson immediately upload the footage of his interview into the social media right after he's finished like in this world. He would compile all the information, then release the completed product long after the interview. If Dom is still on the run, I'm sure he won't stay in one place for more than one day. He would move right after the interview and never return to that place.
Still, whatever is caught on camera would change everything.
Journalists have certain codes of ethics that they must obey to. While he may get to meet a wanted criminal, there are things that should be kept away from the media. That aside, he works much better than the police to track down a wanted criminal. I guess information can be tracked down much easier than the person itself.
