It could be matching limitations. If you disconnect from a match early (Or somehow got disconnected from PSN), the game will limit the matches you can find and join. If this continues to a certain point, you couldn't search rooms, or even do quick match. Only doing complete matches can turn it back to what it used to be.
"Failed to join room". It works every now again but today not at all but probably because of DDOS attack on sony which is stupid.
Okay so I can still not find rooms now to a point where no room will even pop up. Everything was fine till this last update this is really pissing me off especially since they are having these tournaments. I can't find one room right now is anyone else having problems.
I was having problems this afternoon. Perhaps another DDoS attack?
I was having similar problems yesterday evening when trying to test pilot the new plane I got. Couldn't even get a campaign mission fired up without issues. Wondering if they need to do some server maintenance, or if we just flooded it trying to figure out our rewards ;)
They were attacked by this DDoS (Distributed denial of service) attack from script kiddes. D;
so it was third party interference? That's one thing I favor about xbox vs ps3. sure you pay to play online, but their servers are rarely down due to third party interference
Possible: Because the reason Ps# Servers are free is because they aren't secured. xbox charges monthly because they keep firewalls up on their servers. This isn't to say Sony doesn't have secure servers, they just aren't encrypted, so it isn't necessarily difficult to hack them you just have to know how and have an access port. Remotely Legal: Totally illegal in America and japan. But so is crystal meth, know what I mean?
118th TFS MOBIUS, you're absolutely incorrect. Microsoft's servers were also targeted and affected a day or two ago in the same attack.
All DDoS attacks are over, though.
