Do you guys ever think that Ace Combat Infinity was not just for the cash, but for another reason?
We've been waiting for the HD remastered PS2 collection to come out and I have a feeling that ACI was made to lay down it's foundation. I mean, think about it, a bunch of missions and original aircraft of the older ACs have returned and have been recreated for the current gen. They can use that for the HD collection and by the time ACI reaches it's end, we'll have even more missions and aircraft. Let's not forget the fuel and other payable loot, it helps PA fund the development of the HD collection. Lastly, ACI has definately improved the multiplayer of AC, so maybe we'll have a seriously epic multiplayer in the collection or AC7.
Though perhaps, I'm wrong and this is rubbish, or someone already thought of this. Nevertheless, I really hope Project Aces/Bandai Namco planned this and this is not a cash grab.
But anyways, Thoughts?
