Since the current post has the maximum of 500 posts/replies, I am creating a second thread to continue the discussion.
For my wishlist as of the latest update:
- Ace-difficulty CPUs to replace disconnected teammates during TDM/NTDM events - If they're able to replace disconnected players in Co-Op missions with normal-difficulty CPUs, why can't they do the same during TDM/NTDM events? It's not fair when you're forced to carry your team of 2 nuggets using tier 5 3rd gen aircraft against an enemy team of 4 aces tier 1 6th gen fictional aircraft
- Give Bombers flares - It is not fair that bomber users must continuously suffer rewards penalties for being shot down by fighters they cannot fight back against because they're easy targets. Bombers should be given the ability to pop flares to deflect missiles just by clicking L3, like we used to be able to back in Assault Horizon. For balance purposes, they'll have recharge times same as ECMs, which is like, what, every 30-45 seconds? I don't believe Attacker class aircraft need flares because they still have standard missiles, and although it is a longshot to get a kill, they can still fire back at fighters (I even once got shot down by a lucky A-10).
- Add feature to ban certain aircraft or tiers of aircraft - It was a good idea to introduce 1500 or less restrictions, but that still does not stop solve the problem where you're trying to complete challenges that require low-tier aircraft and you're getting your but kicked by enemy players using tier 1 6th gen fictional aircraft. I would like the ability to apply restrictions where only a certain tier of aircraft can be used during a TDM/NTDM event, and the ability to apply restrictions to up to 5 of any aircraft (each choice will also affect special variants; ex: F-22A is disallowed, therefore Mobius F22's are also banned for the match). Or, for even more fun, the ability to create custom lobbies that will have no effect on event scores, leaderboards, challenges, regular credits, rewards, research, so we can play scenario matches. For example: I would like to someday have the ability to play custom matches of F15s vs MiG29s.
- Region-based servers and separate ranking leaderboards - It is not fair that the Japanese get priority on who gets better server quality to play, especially when they host. American and European players have to continually struggle to get their IP traffic over the Pacific and over West Asia in order to reach Bandai Namco's main servers to play. Even when they search "Best Connection Only" they continually become victimized by "Lost connection to host" and "Failed to communicate with PSN," and every 5 times results in disconnection warnings and decreased mission completion rankings. If each region had their own pool of servers, everyone in the world will be so happy to the point where the only problems they should have is if they get invitations by overseas players into separate region lobbies. Another thing is that because Japanese players have priority, the majority of event winnings go to Japanese players who are straight up wallet warriors. Not everyone in America and Europe can afford extra stock fuel like some individuals I cannot mention by name or else I get flamed by administrators here. I don't care that Sony and Bandai Namco will lose revenue as a result of creating regional leaderboards, the most important thing they must do is to ensure that players will have a satisfactory gaming experience. Isn't that what video games are all about? To have fun without problems?
