Which side are you on... The one where good pilots are the ones that rule with special weapons disabled, or the ones that dominate by utilizing special weapons better than the next player? Or maybe the best ones are those that can evade in both situations...
Use the EML at short range have many dangers. And i dont use EMLs before see the before combat more than 2 players using QUAMMs
I really need to get a flight stick. I think I'm pretty good with a controller, but I want to get to where I'm targeting better with guns, lasers, EML etc.
Nuggets will use various special weapons to achieve kills.
True aces use MSL to cope with any and all situations, and do not lower themselves to using SPWs.
Aim, if the life gives Quaams users, do masacres. Dont mater how, only use something with request more skills than a QUAAM. I use EML because the projectile is really small so You have to be able yo aim by yourself without any type of homming to be able yo kill a player Who moves more than an epileptic kangaroo into a disco under many pressure. Try It. You ll be It is greatful... if You success
Doesn't matter which side. I'm more of a gunner. I'll just roast someone's tail with gun or PLSL.
The problem lies with people relying on their spec weps to carry them. (Qaam spammers, sasm spammers). I think the best pilots are those who can use their standard missiles with deadly efficiency. Evading qaams is tricky, especially when you have more than one enemy shooting them at you at once. The damn clouds dont even affect qaam homing reeeee. But the ground is the next best bet when flares run out.
If you're surrounded by missiles from multiple directions, break away from the furball and hope that the guys behind you are chased after. I've played ACI before so evading QAAM is in my playbook. SASM is a bigger problem compared to QAAM since you can't tell the difference on radar.
I dont think qaams were as bad as in infinity. I don't remember, i didnt play it much. What i do is try to either high g in the clouds, or try to drag the pursuing missles into the clouds without going in them myself, it seems to work the same way. That, or giving them the pancake treatment.
At least you can break with Hi-Gs to evade QAAMs on 7. On Infinity, standard missiles can be viciously augmented with multiple homing upgrades. 7's QAAM is completely inferior to them. Even Hi-Gs are useless against them. You have to be on speed most of the time to get the chance to narrowly evade them but even then they will circle around and somehow force-feed you head-on. Head-on, mate.
Yea the standards in Infinity were absolute super weapons with the regular part, the double homing and speed and the data link homing. That gives me Nam flashbacks.
What do you think?
