The games of the PlayStation 2 Ace Combat trilogy and Ace Combat: Infinity contain a number of loading quotes, which are shown in their respective loading screens.

In the PS2 trilogy of Ace Combat games, the quotes shown often carry a poetic or philosophical connotation, which fits with the games' setting. Many quotes are original lines written by the Project Aces staff, although a small number are from real life texts or individuals.

However, in Infinity, the loading quotes display quotes from various members of the Bone Arrow squadron, and include flight and combat tips. Additionally, these quotes only appear occasionally during Multiplayer loading screens.

Ace Combat 04

"Amidst the blue skies, a link from past to future. The sheltering wings of the protector..."
― Original quote
"The flames of hatred scorch the skies... Igniting Gaia's funeral pyre."
― Original quote

Ace Combat 5

"Amidst the eternal waves of time, From a ripple of change shall the storm rise, Out of the abyss peer the eyes of a demon, Behold the Razgriz, its wings of black sheath!"
― Part 1 of the Razgriz Poem
"The Demon soars through dark skies, Fear and death trail in its shadow beneath, Until men united wield a hallowed sabre. In final reckoning, the beast is slain"
― Part 2 of the Razgriz Poem
"As the Demon sleeps man turns on man, His blood and madness soon cover the earth, From the depths of despair awaken the Razgriz, Its black wings ablaze in majestic light"
― Part 3 of the Razgriz Poem
"Nothing else comes close."
― Tutorial and scene viewer; also used as the game's tagline
"Focus. Control. Conviction. Resolve. A true ace lacks none of these attributes. Nothing can deter you from the task at hand except your own fears. This is your sky."

Ace Combat Zero

"For after all what is man in nature? A nothing in relation to infinity, all in relation to nothing, a central point between nothing and all and infinitely far from understanding either."
Blaise Pascal, French philosopher, "Pascal's Wager"
"Then even nothingness was not, nor existence. There was no air then, nor the heavens beyond it. What covered it? Where was it? In whose keeping? Was there then cosmic water, in depths unfathomed?"
― Hymn of creation, Indian Rigveda
"All held the finite and infinite as unrelated. None could foresee that the history of the two would become one."
― Unknown Author
"Without beginning or end, the ring stretches into the infinite."
Final mission, Unknown Author
