The A-10A -THUNDER SHARK- is a download aircraft from Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation. It is the first DLC variant of the A-10A Thunderbolt II attacker in a series of five variants.
It was released in November 22, 2007 with PACK 02 at the price of $2.49 (200 MSP, pre-MSP retirement).

The THUNDER SHARK is a modified version of the traditional Republic of Emmeria Air Force Thunderbolt II model, as evidenced by the Emmerian emblems emblazoned on its body. The main difference, and its namesake, is the "sharksmouth" nose art in the frontal area of the aircraft, which is popular amongst A-10A pilots in the real world.
In performance, there are noticeable differences between it and the standard version. The THUNDER SHARK has greater air combat power and has a noticeably larger weapons arsenal, which has been increased two-fold. These upgrades however, come at the cost of a near-minimal mobility and lesser flight stability.
