Below is a '''full list of enemy aces''' the player can face in ''Ace Combat 2''. Note that some of these aces are squadrons of aces and the player must shoot them all down to earn the medal.
Note that the Z.O.E. aces will appear in succession, and the next Z.O.E. plane will appear only once its predecessor is shot down. For example, if you fail to shoot down the F-14 Z.O.E. in the Sledgehammer mission, the F-14 will appear again in the Seagull mission. In order to face the ADF-01 Z.O.E. ace in the Fighter's Honor mission, the player must defeat every Z.O.E. in the first mission each one appears.

All of the ace pilot medals

Ace Combat 2 was the first Ace Combat game to introduce enemy ace pilots, also known as named aircraft. These aircraft are marked as "DANGER!" on the briefing screen before each mission. Below is a full list of enemy aces the player can face in Ace Combat 2. Note that some of these aces are squadrons of aces and the player must shoot them all down to earn the medal.
