Spoiler template overhaul
FANDOM's Community Council (of which I am currently a member) informed me that the spoiler templates were actually ruining our SEO. Since entire articles were being hidden, search engines were having difficulty providing a proper description for those articles. On top of that, FANDOM Staff informed me that the spoiler templates that hid entire articles were in violation of FANDOM's customization policy. We had some discussions in Council about better spoiler marking formats, and User:Rappy 4187 brought up Reddit's spoiler format, which actually sounded like a perfect solution to the issues at hand.
So that's what I've implemented now. If an article contains story spoilers for AC7, we'll mark it as so like this:
this is a spoiler which shows up like this: this is a spoiler (hover over it to see) Unfortunately, there's not much we can do about an entire article being a spoiler, like mission articles, since that would require marking the entire page which would still put us in violation of the customization policy. So those cases will just have the big warning box at the top. Hopefully this should solve the issues! ~ SlyCooperFan1 [message · contributions] 05:37, November 21, 2018 (UTC)
