AceCombat7-5

A-10C Thunderbolt II, a variant of the A-10A, a common attacker in the Ace Combat series

Attacker is a frequently featured aircraft classification in the Ace Combat series. Aircraft belonging to this class are mostly centered on ground combat. They are characterized by their high stability and defense, which allows them to continuously engage the enemy while taking incoming attacks. However, their air strike capabilities and damage resilience come at the cost of average mobility and low air-to-air capabilities, although their dogfighting ability more often than not depends on the player's skill more than anything else. Additionally, they generally have guns that fire at a slight downward angle, rather than directly ahead, enabling them to strafe targets from level flight.
