Attacker is a frequently featured aircraft classification in the Ace Combat series. Aircraft belonging to this class are mostly centered on ground combat. They are characterized by their high stability and defense, which allows them to continuously engage the enemy while taking incoming attacks. However, their airstrike capabilities and damage resilience come at the cost of average mobility and low air-to-air capabilities, although their dogfighting ability more often than not depends on the player's skill more than anything else.
