The battle of the Schayne Plains was a battle in the Belkan War. It was fought to force through the Hydrian line called operation Dynamo.
The setup
After their defeat at Mount Ivera, the Belkan army made a second defensive line behind the range called the Hydrian Line. However, the plains lacked the cover of the mountains as they were open and exposed the troops to air attack. The allies took advantage of this and launched an air strike on the Hydrian Line.
The battle
The Belkan forces were stretched thin and the allies launched attacks on the three main strong points. After this the Galm team escorted the allied transport teams.
Alpha team
Alpha eleminated the main camp forces on the ground.
Beta team
Beta eliminated the main runway and the planes stationed there.
Theta team
Theta eliminated any enemy air resistance.
The aftermath
The Belkan forces were eliminated and the Galm Team had to escort the transports. However, the laser weapon Excalibur destroyed the transport planes and the allies had to run to the south while being attacked by the lasers. Galm team escaped, but others weren't so lucky. Before the allies could resume the advance into Belka, Excalibur had to be eliminated.
