Blatnoi is a Russian criminal organization which saw action during the 2015 East Africa insurgence, who secretly backed the SRN through manpower, their ultimate objective being to obtain materials for the creation of the thermobaric/nuclear weapon known as "Trinity". The group announced their existance to the world in December 23, 2015, when a Trinity warhead was used to level the East African city of Carruth, shortly after Russian general Ivan Stagleishov defected with his squadron from the NATO 108th Task Force. Prominent members include the aforementioned Stagleishov and Andrei Markov, a former Russian Air Force fighter pilot and recipient of the Hero of the Russian Federation medal.
