regardless of my ability, since I am strong, how many days does it take to get to 4000000 credits if I do 3 (or little more) online co-op mission each day? I must take the Fenrir and Night Raven, i really like them. (hope you understand).

I'll definitely upgrade the Nugget plane at least to level 11, because it leaves a sliver of health on Xsams without any parts, one level more and it will one-shot it. Thanks for the advise :)
I actually think that super planes are competitive even at level 4, geez man, I've got MVP with a Level 1 ADF-01 in a room full of 22xx MR guys with their 6AAM planes. However it still needs more upgrades to make it fully-competitive
Quote: @CocoonOne SAU or SALCI on tournament is for rank 1000 and less. Also, do you really thing the ferninr would be competitive at just level 4? I wouldn't think that's enough by just special weapon quantities, 40+Lpart=60 don't count on mvp with that.
Another thing is, does one need a SAU on every level after 10? I thought it was just to break through the cap.
I think that the Fenrir would be great just at lvl 7..the wikia states that you don't get that many missiles for that LSWM weapon..stupid if you ask me...should be a lot more than 3 at level 7!!
Is your concern time, or fuel? If you're limited on fuel, then like everyone has said, you'll have to spend a lot of time waiting, almost two months, averaging around 15k to 20k a mission, spending little to nothing on anything else to keep your earnings maximized. It wouldn't be a terribly good idea to use any contracts unless you can do a lot of missions in the 12-hour active period, otherwise you're mostly putting them to waste. Even at 20k a mission, that's 200 sorties, which at 3 or 4 a day would be 50 to 67 days.
If your concern is time, and you're not worried about fuel, find a day during a future Forced Sortie event (I don't think there's been a weekend they haven't done one), and used Forced Sorties in a marathon session or two (two - four hour sessions with a break inbetween sessions). With the multiplier, you will never earn as much money through Forced Sorties as you do through regular missions. Example, if you do three missions and earn 15k each, then your total is 45k for those three used fuel units. If you used up those same 3 units on just one forced sortie, you net 52.5k, or 7500 more. It's a relatively small sum but do it twice and that's already a single mission extra income for the same amount of fuel. Add both Elite Merc and Plant Invest contracts and you can push your per mission income to anywhere from 30k to 45k, or more. At 45k using single fuel sorties, you get 135k, or using a forced sortie you get 157.5k. This forced sortie route takes 25 sorties or so, which would be significantly less total fuel at only 75 units (instead of 200). Again, this all assumes fuel isn't an issue as you would need to use much of this fuel at once, so you couldn't wait on supplied fuel much unless you strategically space it out over active Forced sortie days. You could do it in as little as a day, or have to stretch it out over a few weekends.
My last recomendation - make sure you do the in-course challenges. Stuff that gets you fuel, the one for the elite merc contract, stuff like that, and try to log in each day, even if you ultimately don't fly a sortie, to go for the sign-in bonuses. They get you a little bit of money or useful items along the way and can keep you from getting too bored.
I don't know if it's me, or if I'm doing it wrong, or if it's supposed to be this hard to progress. I started to play ACI right after Christmas, with around 470 sorties, and yet my total credits is a little more than 6 million. Four months to get a lvl. 5 T-50 as currently my best plane. In the meantime, I've seen someone saying he can have a lvl. 10 FALKEN in 100 sorties. What is going on? Am I doing something wrong? I've already locked my research, I have always done forced sorties in SP raid missions? What else is missing? Elite contracts are not an option because I don't have any. I feel sad because although I'm a good player, I'm easily overwhelmed by other players and their lvl.10-15 superplanes. :(
Assuming they are telling the truth, the first thing is that they definitely have time under their belt. To even get to the Falken you have to have progressed deep in the tree to unlock it, so they likely have a very good plane (possibly already maxed) and no other research going on.
Second, the Falken itself isn't that expensive - at least not like the R-101, Fenrir, or definitely not the X-49. Total cost to get the Falken to ten is about 5.5mil. That cost, spread out over 100 missions, would be an average of 55k a mission. If that were the case, surely they are using a mix of forced and non-forced sorties because normal sorties wouldn't give that much, and forced shudl be giving much more than that. If they were only doing forced sorties, then, as in my earlier post, it would be all too simple to have a lvl 10 Falken in far less than 100 sorties, or even 100 units of fuel. A maxed out Faken in 100 sortiees is absolutely possible - it's just a matter of how much fuel you have to spend and how quickly you're able to spend it.
I would say locking your research is only beneficial so far as getting to a specific goal with minimal delay. But if your plane isn't up to par to compete and score at a reasonably high level, you don't have the parts to better your plane, then you may end up doing yourself more harm than good in lokcing down on reserach. What are your results when you sortie? Are you at least challenging for MVP? Are your teams getting S ranks? If the answer is no to thost two questions, you're better off spending time and effort right now to get at least to where you're competitive and your teams win and score S ranks. Then is when you should focus on chasing certain things like lvl 10 on a super plane.
I would say you need to get that T-50 up a few more levels and focus on flying missions suited to your T-50 (Aerospace or B7R - maps you can focus on dogfighting). Better would be to switch to a less expensive multirole that you can have a couple setups for different missions - one for ground-based assaults, one for air combat. Again, you'll want to get to at least around lvl 7 to stand a chance at being competitive, and definitely try to stick to rooms close to your MR - no one likes a seal clubber, and no one likes being a clubbed seal. As for contracts, the sign-in bonus usually includes one or the other each period, and there is that challenge that awards one for 300 rescue bonuses. The challenge is tough if you're flying a limited number of sorties a week, but it is not all that daunting, and the elite merc contract can be very valuable when used at the right time.
If you keep playing with those players who easily overwhelm you, you're just gonna make your team lose and wreck yourself. In more details, taking out credit reimbursement gained from research, you can see that Rank Reward, Team Victory Bonus, and Score Reward make up most of your credit earnings. Since you keep playing with those players, you're missing out Team Victory Bonus and Score Rewards most of the time. What's more?
1. TVB gives you as much credits as Rank Reward does, and
2. Score Reward can give you more credits than Rank Reward if you're doing better than other players.
So, counting only these three bonuses, if your team loses and you find yourself at the bottom, you've already lost 66% of what you could've earned.
The problem is that I can only play at weekends, so getting elite contracts through the standard challenge or through daily bonuses is unlikely, and I can't help playing always with players with considerably better setups. Fortunately, we get S rank 90% of the sorties. And sometimes I manage to get MVP. As for my own setups, I have a multirole and a attacker ready to go, but those are still at lvl. 4.
Going for S rank isn't a problem for you but credits are for those who perform better on the missions. So, that habit can be detrimental if your skills undercompensate.
Yeah, seems rank isn't an issue. But, if your team isn't winning (which you may not always have control over), and you personally aren't at least in the top half of players in the room, you're really losing a lot each mission. Being unable to play but on weekends is definitely limiting your ability to accumulate progress or reap the benefits of sign-in bonuses.
Sorry to say, but unless you upgrade at least the multirole to at least 7, competing for top score is going to be tough. Being unable to sortie more often makes it even more important to maximize your earning potential when you do fly. As I said before, focus on making what you have more competitive now, target the more pricey dream stuff a little later.
Also, I don't usually recommend it, but consider buying elite merc contracts. They're not very expensive, and they do help, especially if you're doing all your playing at once over a single day.
Well then, right now I'll take the advantage of the price discounts and research boost on the tree to progress through it faster and get better parts (going for those L parts next to the F-15S/MTD). In fact, I really should continue my tree because it's very incomplete. Apart from the big progress I had to do to get the T-50, everything else was left still (stopped at the F-15C, F-117A, A-10A, B-1B and F/A-18F, I guess).
