At the time of the Lighthouse War, during Operation Full House, one Osean Globemaster, callsign "Roper 1", was utilized to ferry Colonel D. McKinsey of the 444th Air Base to a regular base. Despite taking fire from Erusean combatants around Bulgurdarest's borders, he was able to land safely.[8] C-17As were also deployed by the Erusean Air Force as heavy cargo aircraft; three were destroyed by Mage Squadron during Operation Eastern Wind.[9] One of the three C-17As was carrying explosive cargo which detonated when the plane was destroyed during the battle; this was later determined to be a missile codenamed Helios that was to be used by one of the Arsenal Birds during Operation Flush.[10]
