A damaged [[X-49 Night Raven]] survives the destruction of the [[Geofront]], barely escaping out of the city into [[Port Edwards]]. Nemo and [[Keith Bryan]] chase it down and finally destroy it, killing [[Rena Hirose]]. Shortly thereafter, an [[Ouroboros]] squadron led by [[Abyssal Dision]] appears over the city, manning the enigmatic [[UI-4054 Aurora]].

The duo engages Dision and destroy all of his followers. After greatly damaging the Aurora, Bryan is hit by a missile, causing him to kill himself and Ouroboros' leader in a suicide attack, putting an end to his uprising.

Casualties of War is the 32nd mission in the Japanese version of Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere and the fourth mission of the General Resource (II) arc.

Objectives

The mission's primary objective is to shoot down Rena. There are several fighters moving to protect Rena, but shooting them down is optional. After Rena is shot down, the next objective is to shoot down Dision.
