Chikao Ôtsuka (大塚 周夫 Ōtsuka Chikao, July 5, 1929 - January 15, 2015) was a Japanese voice actor. Known as the nation's most famous VA, he had taken voice roles in several franchises such as Metal Gear Solid, Mobile Suit Gundam and Kingdom Hearts. He was also famous for working in tandem with his son Akio Otsuka, which is exemplifed by their roles as (respectively) Big Boss and Old Snake in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. He was the Japanese VA of Wolfgang Buchner in Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War.
