Comona Base is an aerospace center and satellite launch base built by Wernher and Noah Enterprises in the aftermath of the Ulysses Disaster located in the West Indies, between Cuba and Jamaica.
History
In May 2019, the base was the site of an aerial battle between presumed aircraft of European terrorist networks and Arrows Air Defense and Security.[1]
The USEA Federation, following its formation, began attempts to seize the base to either support their own space efforts or hinder those of the United Nations Forces. USEAn forces attempted to land at the base during the launch of an important satellite but were defeated by the UNF.[2] Undaunted, they assembled a massive naval fleet including three Aircraft carriers and even more amphibious forces. This entire fleet was sunk though by UNF mercenaries just off the base's coast.[3]
At an undeterminable point in the war, UNF forces engaged a golden Aigaion-class heavy command cruiser equipped with lasers over the base as part of the ongoing Operation Whale Hunt.
