The city of Dinsmark is the capital and administrative center of the Principality of Belka. It is only seen on the maps in the vast majority of games in the series, mainly in Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War and also in Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War.

Description

Several government buildings are located at this city. There are also historic Belkan memorials and landmarks that attracks tourists from all the world.

One famous landmark is a statue which is a symbol of the bravery of the honorable Belkan knights. It appears at one of the first cutscenes in Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War showing a squadron of several B-2A Spirit bombers flying over the statue in the city.

Geography

The city of Dinsmark is located in the heart of North Belka, that as the reporter Brett Thompson from the Osean Broadcasting Corporation states: "The land to the north, was the holy land of Belka with the seven nuclear attacks"

The city is safely situated near the northern coast of Belka, being a holiday attraction for the people of the city to visit places like Anfang.

It was convenient for Belka during the Belkan War the position of the city just because they thought that the Allied Forces could not reach the far northern coast.

History

The city was and is one of the most important places of Belka being for years the place were the government was settled down, not much is known about the condition of the city before, during and after the Belka War and also in the Circum-Pacific War too.

It was home of several important acts of the Belka's National History when, for example, a extreme wing party took the power of the country in the 90' and also during the war declarations in the 95' when the Belkan War started, being also a place of constant military power demonstrations.

Is also home of several aces from the Belkan Air Force that settled down in the city after the war.

Trivia

  • Dinsmark ressembles the name "Bismarck" of the Prussian general that was the main responsible for the German Unification back in 1870. That is probably due to Belka being a reference to Germany series.
