The E-767 is an Airborne Warning And Control System (AWACS) aircraft made by Boeing.
History
Strangereal
During the late 20th and early 21st centuries, the E-767 was the standard AWACS aircraft of air forces in the Strangereal world, with major users including Yuktobania, the Osean Federation and Belka. The former Belkan territory of Ustio, recognizing the advantage of early warning systems in air combat, obtained a number of such jets with their military budget after their separation from Belka.[1] Throughout history, various AWACS units gained famed in conflicts prior to and after the 1994XF04 Ulysses impact.
During the Emmeria-Estovakia War, the aircraft was utilized by both Emmeria and Estovakia. Notable units include AWACS Ghost Eye and Snake Pit.[2]
E-767s were fielded in the Lighthouse War, the extent of which is currently unclear.[3]
Joint Assault universe
E-767s were also operated to an unknown extent by the private military company Martinez Security. One unit, AWACS Canopus, carried MS Air Force commander Lieutenant Colonel Fredric Burford in operations during the Valahia Crisis and defected from IUPF in their journey to stop the Golden Axe Plan. A Valahian ace "Timeline" operated an E-767 during Antares Squadron operations in Serbia.[4]
