Enter Dision is the third mission of the original Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere. This mission introduces two new characters into the plot: Abyssal Dision and Keith Bryan, two ace pilots from General Resource, while also allowing them to test two new aircraft from GR: the F/A-18U Hornet ADV and the F-16XF Gyrfalcon

Plot

Ever since the last armed incidents, Neucom has not launched any hostile actions against General Resource. Despite this apparent lack of activity, UPEO cannot lower their guard. In order to keep both sides' forces ready, GR has arranged a joint exercise operation with the SARF at Chopinburg. The SARF assigns main character Nemo to fly for UPEO alongside Abyssal Dision and Keith Bryan, two aces from the General Resource Defense Force.

Mission briefing

"Neucom's momentum has been weakened, but we cannot be careless. Accordingly, in preparation for the next development, we have come to perform join exercises with General Resource's forces. Don't hold back just because this isn't real combat!"

Mission script

[Mission start]

Keith Bryan: (playfully) Now, ya UPEO squirts! Can you catch up to General's ace!?

Abyssal Dision: ...well, show me your skill.

(The exercise begins. Nemo's objective is to pursue Dision and remain in his tail as long as possible.)

Keith: You're not there yet! (seconds later) Aren't you gonna black out and crash at this rate?

Dision: It's better if you try to slam into me.

Dision: Come get me!

(Minutes later, the first part of the exercise ends. The group now begins the "target practice" part of the mission.)

Keith: Next, shooting! You don't have time to rest!

(A ground of unmanned decoys appear near the group. These drones cannot be targeted by missiles.)

Keith: Missile guidance won't work. Fire your guns!

Keith: Fire accurately!

Keith: Show us what you're made of!

(The air combat part ends as the UAVs are shot down. The group is then directed to a group of towers in the ground.)

Dision: Don't rely on jet power. Use the air's power.

Dision: Don't go by hunches; read maneuvers from the HUD!

(The towers are soon destroyed.)

Dision: Remember these skills.

(Fade to black.)

(Cutscene. The camera follows Dision, Keith & Nemo as they fly in formation. They recieve a transmission from the SARF commander as the perspective changes to show us a R-501 Rhincodon transport.)

SARF Commander: All units, urgent directive! Experiment for dissemination of unsanctioned chemicals within General Resource airspace by Neucom planes confirmed.

(As the commander speaks, the camera follows the Rhincodon as it moves through GR airspace. The camera goes around the plane as three small boxes with parachutes are released from the aircraft'.)

SARF Commander: Suspend exercises, rush to location and destroy the airdropped parachuting containers.

Keith: Geez! We'll go with things half done.

Dision: That's Neucom's dragonfiles for you.

(Cut to gameplay.)

Keith: Don't let 'em touch down!

(They engage the Neucom forces. Soon thereafter, the sky is clear of containers.)

Dision: This skill must be UPEO's limit.

[Mission ends]

Mission debriefing

"You were able to prevent enviromental pollution by Neucom. It seems this exercise flight was not wasteful."
