The F-16C -TYPE ACE2- is a downloadable aircraft in Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation. It was one of the first aircraft released for the game, being included with DLC Pack 01. It costs $2.49 (200 MSP, pre-MSP retirement).
Overview
The F-16C Fighting Falcon TYPE ACE2 is the first aircraft of the "TYPE" series, as well as the first Ace Combat 2-themed fighter. The aircraft sports a new camouflage bearing dark and light overtones. The rear stabilizers and wings are adorned by dark yellow stripes. The "phoenix" emblem of the 92nd Special Tactical Fighter Squadron is featured on the tail, while the roundel of Unified Command is displayed on the wings.
The aircraft has been engineered with endurance in mind. Defense has underwent a large upgrade, making this one of the game's most durable planes. As well, stability has been upgraded slightly. However, speed and air-to-ground have been reduced, and the aircrafts special weapons has been stripped.
