The F/A-18F Super Hornet Block III is an improved variant of the F/A-18F Super Hornet featuring conformal fuel tanks, weapon pods, and infrared sensors.

The Block III will debut in the Ace Combat franchise as downloadable content for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. It was teased at the end of the trailer for the Japan Air Self Defense Force DLC^[1] before being officially revealed as part of the Cutting-edge Aircraft Series DLC.^[2]
