The F/A-18V Hornet ADV was used in the beginning of the corporation war of 2045 as one of the aircraft employed by the UPEO & the GRDF during their initial operations on the Usean Continent. This version was used for multi-role purposes, To that end of a variety of missile loadouts are available to enhance its air-to-air and air-to-ground combat capabilities. But thanks to the superior availability and cheap maintenance costs (1 engine is cheaper than 2) of the F-16XA Sakerfalcon, the F/A-18E Super Hornet was largely relegated to second line duties or was given to the UPEO. There are only a few instances where the F/A-18V Hornet ADV was used by GRDF, further hinting to it's unpopularity.
