A fighter is a military aircraft designed for combat primarily against other fighters. Fighters in the Ace Combat series feature higher speed, better mobility, and stronger air-to-air attack damage than other aircraft. Additionally, they can carry various air-to-air special weapons. However, they sacrifice defense and stability, and almost never carry air-to-ground weapons.
