A Collaboration Event is an event performed in Ace Combat Infinity where Infinity features the work of non-Ace Combat games in some way. Collaboration Events usually involve the giveaway of emblems, nicknames, and or Special Aircraft.

Xevious[]

In mid-June 2014, players began noticing Bacura when playing on Tokyo Martial Law. This was acting as a teaser for Infinity's first Collaboration Event, featuring Xevious. Destroying a Bacura awarded the "Gust Notch" nickname to the player. Between the weekends of July 4–6 and July 11–13, the rate of Bacura appearances increased and special Xevious emblems were handed out as Limited-Time Drops.

THE iDOLM@STER[]

On a livestream on June 24, 2014, the Ace Combat Infinity development team hinted at a possible Collaboration Event with THE iDOLM@STER, continuing the trend of iDOLM@STER collaborations in Ace Combat. During another livestream one month later on July 25, it was confirmed that a series of emblems would soon be available (rather than a set of aircraft skins as usual). These emblems would be Limited-Time Drops available to all players during one weekend.

This event took place between August 22, 2014 at 4 AM GMT and August 27, 2014 at 4 AM GMT. It was originally scheduled to end on August 25, but a DDoS attack against the PlayStation Network prevented the event from playing out in full, prompting Infinity's development team to extend the event.

SOULCALIBUR Lost Swords[]

This SOULCALIBUR Lost Swords Collaboration Event took place between September 18, 2014 at 4 AM GMT and September 22, 2014 at 8 AM GMT. With the exception for Sophitia, the emblems were Limited-Time Drops during the event.

Area 88[]

An Area 88 Collaboration Event was believed to be arriving in the game since the Update 1.03 leak in August 2014, in which the Special Aircraft of various Area 88 characters were said to be added to the game. On September 5 and September 12, Vines were uploaded teasing an Area 88 collaboration event, followed by the Operation Future Prospect trailer on September 18 showing off three Area 88 aircraft. Finally, on September 29, full details were announced on the collaboration event.

The event was originally scheduled to take place between October 3, 2014 at 4 AM GMT and October 14, 2014 at 8 AM GMT. However, unforeseen issues during the game's update between October 1 and October 3 required the event to be postponed. The event was rescheduled for October 4, 2014 at 4 AM GMT through October 15, 2014 at 2 AM GMT. The event supposedly ended on schedule at October 14, but received 18 hours extension due to PSN maintenance on October 13.

The collaboration event made a return between August 7, 2015 at 8 AM GMT and August 31, 2015 at 8 AM GMT. The Ranking Tournament rewards did not make a return, but the four 3 Star Aircraft aircraft were available as drops again, with the addition of 880,000 credits added as a possible drop.

Tekken Revolution[]

Similar to Area 88, a Tekken Revolution Collaboration Event was believed to be coming to Infinity since the Update 1.03 leak in August 2014, in which three Special Aircraft featuring Tekken characters were said to be added to the game. On October 17, a banner on the Infinity home page was posted teasing the event's arrival in the near future.

The event took place between October 20, 2014 at 8 AM GMT and November 4, 2014 at 10 AM GMT. All collaboration event items (3 Special Aircraft and 15 Limited Edition Emblems) were Limited-Time Drops.

Star Blazers 2199[]

A Collaboration Event with Space Battleship Yamato 2199 (referred to overseas as Star Blazers 2199) was not discovered until its banner was added in the in-game advertisements one and a half hours prior to the maintenance performed in the first week of December 2014. It was later posted by Project Aces and Bandai Namco, including a video trailer.[1] There were 8 emblems that available as Limited-Time Drops during the event.

The event began on December 5, 2014 at 8 AM GMT and ended on December 15, 2014 at 8 AM GMT.[2]

THE iDOLM@STER Part 2[]

A second Collaboration Event with THE iDOLM@STER was revealed during "The Unsung War" Online Co-Op Missions Ranking Tournament in early February 2015. A total of 16 emblems were available as Limited-Time Drops during the event, as well as Limited-Time Special Challenges which rewarded the players with nicknames.

The event took place between February 3, 2015 at 4 AM GMT and February 16, 2015 at 8 AM GMT.

A Collaboration Event with God Eater 2 Rage Burst was revealed on February 20, 2015 to celebrate the release of the action RPG game. A Fenrir emblem was given to all players via in-game notification. There were also Limited-Time Special Challenges which rewarded the players with emblems and nicknames.

The event took place between February 20, 2015 at 8 AM GMT and April 1, 2015 at 8 AM GMT.

THE iDOLM@STER Part 3[]

A third Collaboration Event with THE iDOLM@STER was revealed by Dengeki Online, returning all of the iDOLM@STER aircraft from Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation and Ace Combat: Assault Horizon as well as new aircraft such as Gripen C -TAKANE-, AV-8B -HIBIKI-, and B-2A -THE IDOLM@STER-. There were 14 Special Aircraft that available as Limited-Time Drops during the event.

The event took place between March 5, 2015 at 4 AM GMT and April 1, 2015 at 8 AM GMT.

The collaboration event made a return between February 1, 2016 at 8 AM GMT and February 29, 2016 at 8 AM GMT, with all 14 aircraft returning as possible drops in the said period. Starting from February 9, sequences of challenges were also added to allow players to acquire the nicknames and emblems from the prior iDOLM@STER collaboration events.

TAIKO DRUM MASER[]

A Collaboration Event with TAIKO DRUM MASTER was revealed on June 26, 2015 to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the game series. A TAIKO DRUM MASTER 15th Anniversary emblem was given to all players via in-game notification. There were also Limited-Time Special Challenges which rewarded the players with emblems and nicknames.

The event took place between June 26, 2015 at 4 AM GMT and July 14, 2015 at 2 AM GMT.

Godzilla-VS[]

The trailer for Infinity's latest update showed Godzilla in the waters of Tokyo Bay.[3] The collaboration was officially announced on July 16, 2015 to celebrate the release of "-GODZILLA-VS". Godzilla or Mechagodzilla might randomly appear in Tokyo Martial Law or Tokyo Martial Law (HARD) after the completion of Mission Update. The kaiju was invincible and cannot be targeted, but attacking one will reward the player with Godzilla or Mechagodzilla emblem. There were also Limited-Time Special Challenges which rewarded the players with emblems and nicknames.

The event took place between July 16, 2015 at 2 AM GMT and August 3, 2015 at 8 AM GMT.

PIXELS[]

A Collaboration Event with the movie Pixels was revealed on September 8, 2015 to celebrate the airing in Japanese cinema on September 12, 2015. A Pixels emblem was given to all players via in-game notification. There were also Limited-Time Special Challenges which rewarded the players with emblems and nicknames.

The event took place between September 11, 2015 at 8 AM GMT and October 1, 2015 at 8 AM GMT.

THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS STARLIGHT STAGE Part 1[]

A Collaboration Event with the mobile device rhythm game THE iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls: Starlight Stage was revealed on October 13, 2015. A total of 6 emblems were available as Limited-Time Drops during the event, as well as Limited-Time Special Challenges which rewarded the players with nicknames.

The event took place between October 13, 2015 at 8 AM GMT and October 26, 2015 at 8 AM GMT.

GOD EATER RESURRECTION[]
