The Shooting Star Squadron was a division of the Erusean Army. They were specifically tasked with operating Stonehenge during its engagements with the Ulysses 1994XF04 asteroid, and likely continued to operate the railguns during the entirety of the Continental War.[1][2]

- "Shooting Star" is available as a nickname in Ace Combat Infinity after sortieing once in STONEHENGE RETURNS II.
- The "Shooting Star" emblem, as well as other emblems related to it, has been visible on the Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies website for years without an explanation as to what it was for. They were also included in Aces At War: A History, also without explanation.
