The AC-130 Spectre is an armed gunship and a combat-oriented version of the C-130 Hercules transport, designed to bombard ground targets with a variety of heavy ordnance.

Only two countries were known to have used the Spectre during combat.
During the Circum-Pacific War, the Yuktobanian Air Force deployed these gunships on two occasions. In Operation Desert Arrow, two were sent to stop the advance of Osean ground forces in the Jilachi Desert but were subsequently shot down by the Wardog Squadron.[1] In Operation Crossroad, they were again deployed to try stopping a Yuktobanian resistance convoy led by Osean pilot Jack Bartlett and Nastasya Vasilievna Obertas, which was carrying the freed prime minister Seryozha Viktrovich Nikanor to the airfield for evacuation. Once again, the Wardog Squadron (now operating as the Razgriz Squadron) shot the gunships down.[2]
In the Emmeria-Estovakia War, the Estovakian Air Force operated the Spectre in operations against Emmerian forces. Some were used in the initial attack on Gracemeria to support the airborne forces landing in the city. During the landings at Rargom Beach, two were sent to stop the Emmerians from progressing further inland but were subsequently shot down by fighter aircraft of the Republic of Emmeria Air Force.[3] In the invasion of the Moloch Desert, a lone Estovakian Spectre was sent to reinforce the Estovakians but was subsequently shot down as well.[4]
