Yuktobania noticed the importance of Sand Island Air Force Base for Osea's defense, so it launched an offensive to destroy the base. Many Yuktobaninan B-1B Lancer bombers escorted by many squadron were detected and Sand Island scrambled all it's jets as quickly as possible. During the batlle, the new leader of Wardog squadron, Ford, was approaching the island but couldn't land because of the circumstances. As wardog didn't have a leader, Blaze took the lead once more and Wardog engaged and destroyed the first wave. Later in the battle, Hans Grimm, a replacement pilot that was helping the mechanics in the hangars before the air raid, decided to takeoff using Bartlett's spare aircraft and joined Wardog squadron. During his preparations for takeoff, The other wardog planes protected him from above. The 4 members cleared the next wave before Ford needed to land due to lack of fuel in his aircraft. He asked for cover by all aircraft but while attempting to land he was shot down and killed by the last wave of the Yuke fighters in the bomber/fighter formation. Wardog finally shot down the last hostile aircrafts in the airspace and the air raid finished. Grimm was congratulated for his excellent flying during the engagement of the last enemy formation.

Once all the bombers are shot down, Pops will take off, and Archer will leave the hangar. The new objective is to protect him as he taxis to the runway and takes off. Once he is in the air, Lt. Col. Ford will get shot down, after which another wave of bombers and escorts will appear. Shooting down the bombers ends the mission.
