Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War
- "On the battlefield, waking up at the sound of the rotors of an approaching Pavehawk is a daily routine as natural as seasoning a sunny side up egg with salt at breakfast. I never became so happy on this battlefield as when I saw that low flying black silhouette approaching us."
- ― Michael Kohl describing a Pavehawk, "Confession of a Soldier"
In the backstory of Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War, the Pavehawk is an helicopter operated by the Belkan Air Force. The aircraft does not make an appearance in the game proper, but instead is feaured in the supplementary story "Confession of a Soldier". In diary #5, the soldier Michael Kohl and the soldiers with him are forced to hide in the desert of Futuro Canal after Offensive Campaign No. 4101, and are rescued by an HH-60 after several days of hiding.
- The HH-60 featured in Confession of a Soldier looks similar to the HH-60P Pave Hawk variant used by the South Korean Air Force, albeit without the FLIR pod and external fuel tanks.
