A coup d'état took place in the Republic of Romny in 1987 between the Kholm regime (ヘウム政権)[1][note 1] and loyalist forces of Romny. Yuktobania is known to have intervened in the conflict by sending its air force to silence the Kholm insurgents; Yuktobanian pilot Dominic Zubov fought against the uprising regime and helped Romny's forces suppress the coup.[3]

Footnotes[]

  1. ヘウム refers to the Eastern Polish city of Chełm. The transliteration of the Ukranian name for the city is Kholm. Since Romny is also a Ukranian transliteration, Kholm is used here to refer to the regime. This localization was officially used in Aces At War: A History 2019.[2]
