Lucijan Markovic, callsign Pegas, was an ace pilot in the Eastern Faction and Estovakian Air Force. He was the flight lead of the Estovakian Air Force's Central Forces Precinct, 120th Aviation Regiment, 1st Tactical Fighter Squadron.[1]
Markovic is the first ace the player can encounter in Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation. The player must shoot down all TGTs within 120 seconds of starting the mission, then shoot down the F/A-18Fs within 120 seconds of their appearance, and then shoot down two of the Rafale Ms that appear. Markovic will appear near the player at high altitude.[2]

Markovic graduated from the renowned Northern Pegasus training academy.[1]
During the onset of the Estovakian Civil War, Markovic's actions and skill in combat outshined even the Strigon and Vampire squadrons. However, as the war progressed, his renown was overshadowed by Victor Voychek and Ilya Pasternak.[1]
Markovic took part in the Invasion of Gracemeria in an effort to regain his former glory. He successfully pressed the assault against Emmerian forces, but was shot down by Garuda Team during the battle.[1]
