The MH-60 Black Hawk is an assault helicopter manufactured by Sikorsky. The main utility helicopter of the United States' military, it is capable of performing a variety of roles, such as search and rescue, troop transport and gunship.
Ace Combat: Assault Horizon
The MH-60 Black Hawk is a utility helicopter operated by the United States Air Force. It is the main aircraft used by Task Force 108's Nomad Squadron, and is seen in every mission involving the team. It is one of the four available helicopters, along with the AH-64D Apache Longbow, Mi-24 Hind and download-exclusive Ka-50 Hokum.
The Black Hawk is introduced in the prologue mission "Shockwave", and is featured once more in "Lock and Load". In these levels, the player takes the role of Guns, the unnamed soldier responsible for manning Nomad 61's on-board weaponry. The helicopter is armed with a single Dillon Aero M134 minigun, which Guns mans. The weapon has a very fast rate of fire and high accuracy, which is often affected by the Black Hawk's movement. The weapon will overheat after prolonged firing, however the slow rate of heat build-up rarely makes overheating an issue.
Like certain other aircraft, the MH-60 is never seen in multiplayer.

Trivia
- The MH-60 Blackhawk is the first aircraft in the Ace Combat series in which the player flies as a passenger.
- The Black Hawk's color can be customized. However, as with the AC-130U Spooky, the changes are often a moot point, as the aircraft in its entirety is rarely seen, if at all, by the player.
- In Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, the MH-60 only carries a minigun on the right side of the aircraft. However, in real life the aircraft usually carries miniguns on both sides.
