Trivia
- The name "Megalith Agnus Dei" has a deep religious symbolism: Agnus Dei is Latin for "Lamb of God", while a "megalith" is a large stone; this symbolizes the sacrificial lamb of Christianity, which is a lamb sacrificed in the name of God in order to gain his favor. Continuing with the "sacrificial lamb" point, this is further symbolized by Bravo 2's SpecOps team, which went into the interiors of Megalith in order to capture the main control room to open up the site's main blast door leading to the giant ICBM; meanwhile, the player can hear the team's situation over the radio, and can even hear how members are killed in real time. Alongside the Lamb of God references, the entire mission's point is to symbolize humanity's sins & the Apocalypse: this is backed up by the Eruseans' attempt to saturate ISAF-controlled terrains with ballistic missile attacks (and perhaps a nuclear strike) as well as knocking asteroids out of orbit, which mirrors the end of the world, while the destruction of the giant ICBM & the subsequent end of the Usean Continental War mirror humanity's reconciliation with God.
- Due to it's popularity, Megalith -Agnus Dei- is widely considered to be the leitmotif (signature/image song) of Mobius One, as well as of the Ace Combat series.
