A modernized variant of the legendary MiG-21bis Fishbed, the 21-93 variant has increased mobility, extremely increased air-to-air & air-to-ground capabilities, higher missile capacity, higher yaw & tougher armor, at the expense of a higher stalling speed.

The MiG-21-93 was developed as a modernized version of the the MiG-21bis, with all-round better capabilities, yet rarely seen when compared to the standard MiG-21bis, two primary operators of the type were the Leasath Air Force and the Yuktobanian Air Force, with Leasath using the type more. The Usean Rebel Forces also made use of the type.
The type was seen in action during the Usean coup d'état, in the service of the air forces of the Usean Rebels.
During the Circum-Pacific War Yuktobania used the standard MiG-21 more, however a Yuktobanian ace with the callsign of "Swordkill" made use of the 21-93 variant. Swordkill was present in the Payavlenie Ravine during Operation Riverbed, but was shot down by Blaze.[1]
During the Aurelian War, Leasath made significantly more use of the 21-93, especially during the war's early and middle stages. A notable Leasath MiG-21-93 pilot was "Rose", who was present in the Kingshill area whilst the Miller Unit of the Leasath Ground Forces attempted to retake Port Patterson, but was shot down by Gryphus 1.[2]
