Edge is the second pilot of the Ridgeback Squadron. She had an unknown relation with the squadron's leader, Slash, who did not tolerate her failing to meet his expectations on the battlefield, as indicated by dialogue after the fall of Stonehenge Type-3.
The second "Open Beta Notice" trailer implies that Edge suffers from mental instability, and a relation involving Slash is suggested.
