A neutron bomb or enhanced radiation weapon (ERW) is a low-yield nuclear weapon with reduced blast and heat effects. They are designed to prioritize wiping out humans without the structural damage of other nuclear weapons. On impact, a neutron bomb releases high-energy neutron radiation, killing anyone within the radiation radius.[1]
The Alicorn carries a railgun equipped with ammunition carrying neutron bomb warheads. These rounds are capable of wiping out over 80,000 people in a 400 m (1,300 ft) radius from the center.[2]
