The OFS Andromeda was an intelligence ship of the Osean Maritime Defense Force. [1]
History
Attached to the Third Fleet under the command of the OFS Kestrel, the crew of the Andromeda followed it on its clandestine operations in late 2010 to undermine the efforts of the Gray Men in the Circum-Pacific War. She intercepted various vital encrypted transmissions during the war, both from the Gray Men and from Jack Bartlett in Yuktobania.
When the Kestrel was sunk in December 30 west of Osea, she rescued the Kestrel's crew, Osean Broadcasting Corporation reporter Albert Genette and Wolfgang Buchner, who aided the Razgriz Squadron during their final missions in Sudentor and Oured, where he supplied information to AWACS Oka Nieba. [1]
Trivia
- The Andromeda is named after the Greek mythological figure of the same name.
- During landing sequences following Final Option, she can be seen stationed at port in Kirwin Island, along with the Kestrel.
