OFS Buzzard was a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier and the OFS Kestrel's sister ship.
At Eaglin Straits and destruction
The OFS Vulture, OFS Buzzard, OFS Kestrel and OFS Finch (the Osean escort destroyer) from 3rd Osean Naval Fleet were rendezvous at Eaglin Straits heading to Bennion Sea (the Osean inland sea) to rebuild a counter-strike force. Yuktobanian Navy carrier jets launch an attack on the three OMDF aircraft carriers and Wardog Squadron with Osean naval fighters attacked them. All enemy carrier jets were destroyed, the Scinfaxi (Yuktobanian advanced underwater carrier) is outside of the combat zone launches two Burst Missiles to destroy the OFS Vulture, OFS Buzzard and OFS Finch. Only the OFS Kestrel, Captain Marcus Snow and Wardog Squadron survived. Without two OMDF aircraft carriers, Osean Defense Forces could not build a counter-strike force. The OFS Kestrel and the remains of the 3rd Osean Naval Fleet rerouted to Kirwin Island in North Osea to protect them from damage.
