San Diego is a city in the United States of America, located in the region of Southern California. The eighth largest city in the country, it is located 190 kilometers south of Los Angeles.


In 1999, most of California was struck by fragments from 1986VG1 Ulysses during the Ulysses Disaster San Diego survived the disaster unscathed, but whether other cities from the region suffered the same fate is unknown.

Following the cataclysm, the city became a major base for United States Navy operations, housing various aircraft carriers at the port of Naval Base San Diego. By 2019, the United States Marine Corps air station Miramar had become a training facility for new mercenaries, including Reaper.
