Scofields (or Scofield) Plateau is a flat grassland located in southwestern Usea.
History[]
Usean coup d'état[]
On July 21, 1998, Scarface Squadron was dispatched to the Scofield region to rescue the Pennant Squadron, a training squadron that had fallen under a rebel attack. As the pilots were being escorted home after the rescue, the squadron was attacked by a red YF-23 Black Widow II, later identified as a ZOE unit. Scofield became the site of the Allies' first confirmed kill on a ZOE aircraft during the Usean coup d'état.[1]
2014 Free Erusea uprising[]
On June 16, 2014, Free Erusean forces approached the air base while tailing the 1816th Bomber Squadron. Multiple IUN-PKF squadrons were quickly deployed. After shooting down the invading aircraft, multiple Free Erusean ground forces began attacking the east substation that powered the base, later attacking the base itself. With the help of the IUN-PKF squadrons, the Free Erusean forces were successfully repelled.[2]
Lighthouse War[]
At the outbreak of the Lighthouse War, Scofields fell under Erusean control. On May 17, 2019, the Golem and Mage Squadrons were deployed to halt the advance of Erusean forces in order to prevent interference with allied ground forces. During the operation, the squadrons destroyed all anti-air radar vehicles along the road and attacked the air base previously used by IUN-PKF forces. Erusea later deployed five MQ-99s, all of which were shot down.[3]
