Sentinel is the seventeenth mission in Ace Combat 2. It is also the fourth and final mission of the Operation "A"LPHAVILLE branch.
Briefing[]
Your last mission in Operation "A"LPHAVILLE is to destroy the enemy's radar facilities installed all over the coastal area. Our missile guidance system will not work because of the complexity of the coastal area. Therefore, we will have to resort to using machine guns in order to destroy them.

We expect this to be a fierce battle, but if we can break through their defense, their headquarters will be easily within our reach. Give it your best shot! And, good luck!
Objectives[]
There are a total of twelve radar sites that are marked TGT on the map, and they cannot be locked on, therefore the player should use machine gun to destroy them while navigating carefully along the rocky coasts.
After destroying the last TGT, the player aircraft is on autopilot as the message "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" is being displayed, hence there is a chance of crashing if there is little distance between the aircraft and terrain ahead. In order to avoid crashing and incur a penalty in rewards, one can consider lining up for a safer attack run against the final target, or skip straight to results as soon as the message "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" appears.
