"Nice job out there. I guess the rumors we heard about you were true."
― Skald[2]

Skald is an Osean Air Defense Force fighter pilot who flew as a member of the Strider Squadron and Cyclops Squadron during the Lighthouse War. As a calm and collected pilot, he does not speak unnecessarily.[3]

Biography

During the Lighthouse War, Skald joined the Strider Squadron at some point following Operation Two Pairs.[2] He assisted the squadron in Operation Siren's Song and Operation Dragon Breath.[2][4]

Skald, alongside Cyclops Squadron, was put on standby following Operation Dragon Breath, where Count was placed in his position.[5] He was later returned to his position for Operation Giant's Step.[6] Following Wiseman's death in the operation, Skald was permanently transferred to Cyclops Squadron for the remainder of the war, where he assisted the unit in the aftermath of Operation Gorgon, as well as Operation Reflux, Operation Beehive and Operation Daredevil.[7][8][9][10] Following Operation Daredevil, Skald landed and stayed behind on the OFS Admiral Andersen, while Strider Squadron took off to engage the new ADF-11F UAVs.[11]
