Trivia

• "Vent d'Ange" is French for "Angel's Wind".
• The angel on the skin is likely the archangel Raphael, whose name is similar to the name Rafale. In Thomas Heywood's Hierarchy of Blessed Angels and the medieval Jewish Book of the Angel Raziel, Raphael, an Angel of the Four Winds, is described as a guardian or watcher of the west wind.
  • This could have a symbolic meaning to the series. A west wind blows eastward; therefore, any pilot flying the -Vent d'Ange-, a modification of an aircraft from western Europe, would be protecting Japan to the east, where Project Aces resides.
