The Orientation is the 34th mission in the Japanese version of Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere. It is the first mission in the Ouroboros(I) arc, and is played if the player follows Dision in Dilemma. Starting with this mission, the player will only be able to use the XFA-36A Game.

Objectives

The player's objective is to destroy all buildings and freeways. After all targets are destroyed, the player's new objective is to destroy the target V-22Bs. If any survive past 1:30 minutes, the next mission played is Liquidation. If all target V-22Bs are destroyed, the next mission played is Archnemesis.

[Mission Start]

Abyssal Dision: From here on, I shall designate the targets for you to destroy. Wipe them from the face of the earth! I wish you luck.

(The Ouroboros team begins their attack.)

Dision: Crush that elevated freeway!

Dision: Aim at this point.

Dision: Annihliate their headquarters.

(After all targets are destroyed:)

Dision: Neucom's so-called leaders are in those desperately fleeing helicopters. Shoot every one of them down!

(If all helicopters are shot down, a cutscene plays.)

Dision: With this, we break open another door to the future. We'll head back now. All that's left is to sink Megafloat.

(If any helicopters survive past 1:30 minutes, a cutscene plays.)

Dision: It seems that they've taken refuge at the Megafloat. Pursue them!
