  • So There are a couple things I've been trying to figure out but I can't so here are my questions

    1. At the beginning of the AC04 mission "Shattered Skies", a radar contact, (detected as a plane) shoots really fast across the map and cannot be seen by the player. Idk if this is just in my game or all over but I thought that was really weird

    2. In the final mission of AC6, at one point in the battle, an Estovakian guy says something like "Galm you are cleared to engage the enemy Ace of Aces above the Chandelier." I looked around but theres no noticably skilled pilot, so what was that about?"

    3. Last thing, in Mission 6 in AC6, I was near a jammer and ended up in a rolling-scissors dogfight with an F-14, and I saw it had Osean markings. I shot it down a few seconds later but stil...

    • don't know about 1 or 3 but it is rumored that near the end of the war Estovakia started to hire mercs so they may have hired Cipher in order to try to swing the war back their favor.

      Thats the rumor anyway...

    • About the 3rd I don't know... But the first is a SR-71 and you can shotdown it when he turn back to exit from the mission area... My advice for you is to use the F-14 with long range Air-Air missile (if you haven't the X-02)

    • Thanks. I'm going to try to find the Osean fighter again and try to see his serial umber and emblems if I can. The pilot was decent but  It couldn't have been anybody special since they bit on a fake dive in the 5th turn. Could it have been from Norddenovic? I know they helped the Eastern Faction in the Civil War.

    • But then Nordennavic helped the Emmerians after 'regretting' helping the Eastern Faction. Grendel Squadron was sent to protect Emmerian evac ships heading to Khesed(?)

    • That's true, however they most likely would have had ties with Eastern Faction personnel (As a result of being their most valuable allies as far as I know) and also as we have seen so far Norddenovic quite quickly sends it's pilots to areas when it suits their interests. Besides, in the secretive nature of the RNAF, it's quite possible some of their forces on covert operations (assisting or resisting the Emmerians) could have been caught in the Selumna Peak engagement, resulting in their classification as enemies when their IFF squawk was picked up by the AWACS. I'm really no expert on AC: NW but those are my theories.

    • Why am I the only guy who never has these kinds of things happen to him :(

    • You have to play around a lot. Try looking for these ones (they may be only for me but I think they're universal); in AC6, during Mission 10 there is a Strigon plane and in Mission 11 there is an F15E which are glitched or supposed to imply skilled pilots. After damaging the planes until they are almost shot down, the planes become un-destroyable and you will not be able to shoot them down until later on in the mission, after destroying other enemy planes or using your wingman/allied attack.

    • It's odd that allies in AC4 say that that their radios or not working on the radio.

Oh, and by the way, the fast aircraft at the start of shattered skys is a SR-71 blackboard and, as all aircraft lovers know. The blackboard is a fast plane!

    • Sorry I'm writing on a kindle, when reading my before post remove the extra that and the or!

    • Didn't know blackboards could go high-supersonic.
