Over the past few months, especially since and due to the release of Ace Combat Infinity, Acepedia's activity has exponentially increased. I haven't seen this many people editing this often since the release of Ace Combat: Assault Horizon. While that's all well and good, there are some aspects of the wiki that have completely flatlined. Chat, Top 10 Lists, and Achievements were all recently disabled, but the Blogs, while also flatlined, have not been removed. I've been meaning to take care of this for some time, but I did not want to remove them without asking for everyone's opinion.
I would not disable Blogs if we didn't already have a better alternative. And we do. The Forum, where you are reading this from right now, has also exponentially increased in activity. In my opinion, the Forum is a lot more useful: you can track topics and get notifications on them, you can assign topics to a discussion to have it show up on that topic's article, and I can highlight a special announcement post (like this one) so it shows up in everyone's notifications no matter what.
So, everyone... what do you think? Should we leave the Blogs alone, or disable them and use the Forum exclusively?
