I just finished watching the trailer for AC0 and I found something about the "Knights of the round table" along the trailer. I was just wondering who these aces are and what their titles and Knights are supposed to be...
here's a link to the trailer

Haha, so true.
Also thanks guys.
On another note though, that should mean Cipher, Pixy, and PJ were knights too.. cool..
Didnt nations fight there during medieval times for resources too located in the area as well?
Maybe it has a double meaning.
According to the article, it has seen battles, but unclear which factions did the battle. Was it just the air forces of Belka or any past militaries that were present around Belka. In my understanding, it was always Belkan until they lost it in the Belkan War. I'm not sure if the area is even suitable for land battles. Wasn't B7R made of mountains that circle a desert area?
I don't think it's even suitable for ground combat due to radio interference, hence its name of Priority One Strategic Airspace.
What about the medieval setting? Like horses, swords, bows, and lances?
So in the history section, it says that during its history Area B7R "has been the sight of many conflicts over its strategic location and valuable resources." So I always just assumed this went back to medieval times. This may be talking about something more recent but I wouldn't think so since they would of had fighter aircraft in more recent times and fighters can't really extract resources.
It did say as if it's been that way for ages. It only lacks a name coming from medieval age, like Silk Road in real life.
EDIT: Or Round table is the name? Argh too many blanks to fill.
Area B7R, Belka, AKA "Belkan Priority One Strategic Airspace B7R", AKA "The Round Table", has been historically a stomping ground for pilots to hone their skills with each other and fight in all-out combat with less care for the rules of engagement. Since aircraft were first used for warfare in 1905, and since Belka was the pioneer of that, one can therefore make the assumption that Area B7R has seen tons of conflicts over the 90-year period between 1905 and 1995.
Yes, Area B7R's nickname, "The Round Table", is based off of the Round Table from Arthurian legend. From Wikipedia: "As its name suggests, it has no head, implying that everyone who sits there has equal status." This is where B7R's idea of 'every pilot is on equal footing' comes from.
The Knights of the Round Table were King Arthur's Knights that sat with him at said table. Similarly, Area B7R's "Knights of the Round Table" could be used to refer to any pilot that stepped foot into Area B7R and saw combat there, though it's mostly used for the ace pilots and squadrons.
We don't know anything about Area B7R prior to 1995, so we have no idea what anyone was fighting for besides fame and glory. We definitely don't know if anyone in medieval times fought in the area.
All that and...

Cipher is best known as the Demon Lord of the Round Table.
