• Hey, Q. MyNamesFurii recently brought to my attention that we've (apparently) agreed to put spaces before citations within infoboxes. Is this correct? Because this is the first I'm hearing about it. And by extension, does this mean we should begin putting spaces before the citations in article-text as well, a la Wikipedia?

I know this is an incredibly dull issue to bother you with, but my obsessive need to standardize our articles begs your attention lol... Thanks!

    • Hello. This issue may seem small but it's still noteworthy. I am checking this issue with Sly and MyNamesFurii, and one of us will get back to you when we have an agreed format.

    • Sounds good, and thanks again. I look forward to hearing what the consensus is.

    • We compared with what is used in Wikipedia and we have now decided to have no space before citations within infoboxes.

The reason for this is if a piece of information in the infobox is very long, then part of it will be wrapped to the next line. If the footnote number has no space before the last word of that entry, they will be wrapped together to the next line. However, if there is a space between the two, then there is a chance where only the footnote number will be wrapped to the next line, which we wouldn't want.

I hope this helps. If you have more questions, please feel free to let us know.
