The Tyuleni Unit is a Russian loyalist unit in Ace Combat: Assault Horizon. They remain loyal to the Russian Federation during the events of the story and are featured in the eighth mission, "Pipeline", where the Warwolf Squadron must assist the unit in their amphibious assault of the Russian region of Derbent, where the rebel "New Russian Federation" forces have seized a local fortress. After they re-capture the fortress and free Derbent from NRF control, NRF ace Andrei Markov makes an unexpected appearance in the scene and threatens to destroy them by launching a single Trinity-equipped air-to-surface missile before leaving. Fortunately, William Bishop pursues the missile and destroys it before it reaches the fortress.
